Foreign Podcast

I listened to a Cantonese podcast called Iced milk tea and chill, specifically the episode that translates to “Can we be travel buddies”. I can understand Mandarin pretty well, but listening to the podcast, I could pretty much only understand the little English they say within the podcast. It just seems like two people talking about stuff, given the back and forth between people. I thought I could at least catch a few words here and there, given Mandarin and Cantonese have the same writing system, but I couldn’t get anything. The only external sounds were really used in the beginning of the podcast as kind of an intro. The intro itself is pretty cheery and sounds like ambient music, so it probably sets up the atmosphere of the podcast well, given the its title.
