Here is our treatment for episode 2. Here is the video for our pitch for episode 2.
In terms of a production meeting agenda, we would need to interview each of the three people to get varying perspectives in different work in, we would need to compile and insert appropriate audio clips, such as ones of a train, ones of a peaceful setting, and general sound effects in order to enhance the effects of COVID to the listener. After all that is set, the producers would reorganize stuff however they may want to to tell a more compelling story, and then I would edit it to fit the story.
We were thinking of painting an image of life before COVID, with research and facts, and the COVID hits and transition into how that has impacted things, such as activities people may have picked up, and the transition into how work is different for people. So, this would be like a normal story format, where we get a problem, and see how people adapt/overcome the problem.
Edit: We’ve had our pitch video graded, and since we need to include some language elements, here are a few ideas:
*My brother’s company actually has employees in the Phillipines, Estonia, India, and generally from different places with different languages. We could include a question about how working with them in different time zones across language barriers has been, since it’s out of the norm for most people *In general, since many people are remote, maybe we could also ask about working with people in different countries and how they may have crossed this language barrier, such as doing work for a client in France and they only know French.
Note that my group has not met yet since the pitch was peer graded, so none of the elements have been incorporated into our sketch/treatment yet.
